Crafty Canuck Handyman operates with intentionally limited availability — typically select weekend days each month. That limited schedule is by design: it means every client gets my full attention, and I’m never overcommitted or rushing from job to job.

When you book, you get focused, unhurried work — not a handyman squeezing you in between five other calls. If you’d like to get on the schedule, the earlier you reach out, the better.

Because availability is limited to select weekend days, slots fill up. A few weeks of lead time is typical, though it varies by season. If you have a specific date in mind, reach out sooner rather than later.

I specialize in residential repairs, maintenance, and small improvement projects — the kind of work that makes a real difference in your day-to-day comfort. That includes things like plumbing fixture repairs, electrical work (outlets, fixtures, ceiling fans), drywall patching, interior painting, door and cabinet adjustments, TV mounting, furniture assembly, and more.

Some jobs are outside my scope — major structural work, full kitchen or bathroom renovations, or anything that legally requires a licensed contractor. For those, I’m happy to point you toward trusted professionals I know personally.

No — I only serve residential properties. My services and insurance are structured specifically for homeowner work. If you’re reaching out on behalf of a business, HOA, or commercial property, I appreciate the interest but I’m not the right fit and don’t want to waste your time.

Yes — Crafty Canuck Handyman LLC is a registered Georgia business and carries general liability insurance for residential work. For work that requires a licensed contractor (electrical panel work, gas lines, structural changes, etc.), I’ll tell you upfront and connect you with someone qualified to handle it.

I use block-time pricing — you choose a service block (Minimum Call, Half Day, or Full Day) and pay a flat rate for that time. There’s no guessing, no hourly surprises, and no invoice that looks nothing like the estimate.

If a job runs longer than expected, I’ll always talk with you before the block time expires — never just keep working and surprise you with a bigger bill. We’ll agree together on how to handle it, whether that’s moving to the next block or scheduling a follow-up visit.

Never. Materials are passed through at exactly what I paid — you’ll see the receipts. A lot of contractors quietly add 20–40% on top of parts. I don’t. It’s your home; you shouldn’t be paying a premium on what goes into it.

Cash and check are preferred — they keep costs down for both of us. I also accept Venmo and all major credit cards. A small convenience fee applies to card and Venmo payments to cover processing costs; this is always disclosed before you pay.

I serve the Roswell, Alpharetta, and Johns Creek, Georgia area. Because these are large communities, travel time can vary — jobs significantly outside my base of operations may include a small trip fee, which is always discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
